Hey buddy! Omg these people have NOTHING! At the end of November, November 29th to be exact! He came to Winnipeg to visit and sing at the moose game we went to the restaurant that he went to that very great evening. And they let us in with out a ticket! And he was signing autographs and taking pictures so… when it was are turn.
We walked up and he started talking to us FIRST! And we had this whole conversation and we got a picture of us with him and HIS ARM WAS AROUND US! YES..U HEARD IT RITE HIS ARM… AROUND US! Then when he was leaving he was right in front of us and he talked to us AGAIN! And then he said bye to everyone then looked at us and smiled and said (just to us) see ya guys! Omg it was awesome! We will never ever ever ever forget that RIDICOULISLY AWSOME NIGHT!!!!!!!!

I went to see Kalan perform at West Edmonton Mall. My friend and I missed school and got there at 9:00am. 8 hours of waiting!!! But it was soo worth it! We were in the first row, and Kalan was singing (Duh) and he was right there, and we got tons of pictures. Then we got his autograph!!!! He autographed his new cd for me, and then we talked and got some more pictures. He is sooo sweet! My friend and I gave him a card and he was like "Awww thanks so much!" and I shook his hand!!!

It was on the 15th and Kalan was in Halifax, N.S. for his first time and he had a meet and greet and I got to go to the m & g and meet him, hes soooo G-O-R-E-G-O-U-S!!! And sweet, words cant explain, he told me next time im in ontario to let him know so he can come hear me play, the fiddle, but too bad i cant find his email or something:(:(! I have a ginat poster he signed for me and we talke dofr like 15 minutes about music and stuff.. he really loves his fans. Hes awrsome :D!

HEY THERE!
I live about 30 mins east of Toronto, and my cousin was the audience co-ordinator for Canadian Idol, so throughout the duration of the show I went to the show 3 times! Let me tell you, those were the greatest days of my life. I met Kalan at the 2nd show I went to, and he is the sweetest guy ever. He takes time for his fans and when you ask for an autograph he makes sure he addresses it right to you and makes sure he gets your name spelled correctly! I managed to get my pic taken with him, and yes I got a hug to! haha The 3rd show was the second last show, and I got to sit beside all of the other idols, but RIGHT beside Jacob and helped cheer on Kalan & Thresea.....but mostly KALAN because HE ROCKS!! :D

The very first time that i got to meet Kalan was when i was at the (Sandfly Festival) in Medicine Hat Alberta 2004. Now if u r all wondering how i got to meet Kalan my dad was able to get me backstage passes to go and meet Kalan with my best friend Lisa Miller well actually Jenessa Treuer is my very very best friend but she hates Kalan so that's y i didn't invite her. My dad works 4 the Medicine Hat Lodge but I think he knew Mike Theabu of My96 so i think thats where he got the backstage passes from but i am not to sure. I also got a picture taken with Kalan except i didn't get it back that's the problem is is that Lisa and i got our pic taken with Kalan seperetly and we didn't get a copy but o well. All i really cared about then was getting my pic taken with the rich and famous o and i can't forget Hot and SEXY the 1 and only Kalan Porter. i didn't talk 2 him very much though because he was 2 busy talking 2 other people but i did ask him 4 his autograph a couple of times though that was the cool part is that i could ask hime for his autograph whenever i wanted 2. Except when he was on stage doing a concert. Kalan was 18 when i saw him just 2 let u guys know and if u were all just wondering. I also got 2 see his cousin Mackenzie but i didn't get her autograph because she was also 2 busy and i only saw her once and that was when Kalan and Mackenzie were leaving i don't know where they were going though they were probably going back 2 Kalan's Ranch where all of the Buffalo r and stuff. Probably 2 see his wonderful and loving family well anyways peoples i have 2 run so i will talk 2 u guys lata. Bi G2G

I have seen him once!! When i saw him i only wished i was old enough! I was in Medicine hat once and i went by his house(b4 C.I) and i saw him sitting there sisnging ay first i thought he was weird umtil i saw his face!! OMG he is so adorable!! HEHE

Last summer I was at my auntie's place and kalan was there too. there was a whole bunch of us jumping on the trampoline. the most that i remember was my friend monicha crashing into kalan because there was about 7 of us on the trampoline. kalan and i were the shy ones and kinda stood back while everyone else jumped around. another time i remember was when i was 5 years old and i was at my aunties for christmas and all us kids were playing hide and go seek. kalan was it and i was hiding behind a closed door and i remember him opening the door with this weird look on his face and saying "found ya". i hope i get to see him again. hes cool to talk to.

I met Kalan the day he auditioned and I said that I hoped he made it into the tops and then I gave him a hug and then he told me to go back and when i did he kissed me on the lips and i was like so happy i told almost all of my friends and I will remember it forever I luv ya kalan !

I was visiting my aunts in Medicine Hat during the winter of 2003 and i was in an outdoor man made rink out in the countryside right beside my house(its a ranch as well)a couple of kids were already there and i wanted to practice my figure skating,since i was a figure skater.I had a huge space to myself and i had just finished a jump combination when i saw Kalan and some of his friends(or family).Not paying attention at him first, i practiced my jumps again.But then i failed at a jump and fell right in front of him.some ppl started laughing, but Kalan came over to me and asked if i was ok.He helped me up and said i was a good skater.He asked who i was and i told him.We then conversed for ahwile(he told me about his music, and i talked about my father's band in where i play the flute.We met a couple of times during the week(off and on the ice) and he gave me his email addy b4 i left and he said he'll keep a lookout for me in the nationals,and that he was glad he met me and we had become friends and e=pals.Looks like it went the other way around!

I lived in Medicine Hat for like all of my life until about 6 months ago, I had to move to Ontario. Anyways, I lived in the house right beside Kalans. He babysat me when I was really young, and we became friends when I was older. And we emailed each other and talked alot. I used to hang out with his band sometimes too. (they were awesome) Then when I had to move, he told me he might try out for Canadian Idol 2. I was like, ya good luck with that! Anyway, I saw him on TV and we email each other often now. He says he loves to sing and even if he doesnt win, he'll keep singing with his band. And he loves the support!

I've never met Kalan, or talked to him before, but my great aunt(I think that
was my relation to her) used to live by Medicine hat. I only visited her twice
or thrice, but I remember seeing Kalan coming out of one of the stores, as we
were driving by. This was before Canadian Idol. When I saw him, I thought
"He's cute", and I know it was Kalan because you can never forget a face like

Here's my Kalan story =):
I live about two hours outside of Medicine Hat and I
have lots of relatives who live there so I go there
every few weeks. My uncle lives in a town by Medicine
Hat and knows Kalan's family. So when I was visiting
him about a year and a half ago he had to go give some
papers or something to Kalan's dad. I went with him
and Kalan answered the door and I thought I was going
to die! I thought he was SO HOT (and still do!).
Anyways, my uncle introduced me to him and he was
really nice. He showed me his house and I got to see
his bedroom. =) Then I was watching Canadian Idol one
day and saw him and I freaked out. I haven't seen
Kalan since but I hope to see him again soon.

i live in the Hat! awsome place ..... anyways when Kalan is here everyone goes to see him so anyways i went to see him when it was sandfly festivel and i got him to sign a some things for me it was so awsome he is so good at signing its 1:15am right now in Medicine Hat and tomorrow i have tickets which i camped out for to see Kalan tomorrow at the Cypress Center its going to be awsome !! I play piano and at the music festival here in medicine hat I got an award, well oviously so did kalan. (he was also in the running for rose bowl but didn't get it) That was about 2 months before canadian idol started. So, I knew his face. I couple weeks after I had my piano exam and went out to eat after at the Dairy Queen. And guess who I see, Kalan Porter. Oh yeah! I also saw him perform at canada day with his band 'swass'. So now I can say I saw kalan porter at the Dairy Queen!

Well I live in Medicine Hat and tonight was the Kalan Porter welcome home rally (it will be seen on Canadian Idol on Wednesday, September 1st). He performed songs from Canadian Idol, and gave away T-Shirts and signed autographs and everything! It was really really cool! He even came down to the fans (we were in the front row) and he shook my hand and looked me in the eyes and smiled! Great fun!
